- Highlighted Home, In the Neighborhood, John Hall Custom Homes, Our Builders Answer, Overstreet Builders
Highland Woods currently is offering three beautiful designer homes in the Graystone neighborhood, all with prices in the $400s. Anyone who walks through these homes can see that they are incredible in many ways. It is just difficult to figure out which is the very best feature of all the amazing features. So we decided to ask the builders what their favorite aspect is of their designer home. Enjoy their answers below!
Our favorite features to our Richmond spec home is the open floor plan. The kitchen featuring a huge custom circular island that opens to the two-story family room. The layout is perfect for everyday as well as entertaining. The Richmond also features a large master bath with an oversize shower and volume ceiling. The master bedroom is nestled away from the secondary bedrooms for additional privacy!

I really enjoy the Highland overall. In fact, there are a lot of features that I really like in the home. We took items that our clients have requested most into their homes, and put as many as we could into the Highland. My most notable favorites are the extra large bedrooms—they offer more wall and floor space than any conventional home of this size. I also like the gourmet kitchen, that is upgraded with glazed cabinetry, and dovetailed drawers, with soft close full extension glides.
Also, being a gadget fanatic, I really like the Control 4 System, that allows Smartphone, and Remote control of Audio, Video, and Thermostats. It is part of our overall Home Automation Welcome Kit, and features like cameras, and lighting automation can be added any time, with no special wiring.

The master suite of The Geneva is definitely an owner’s retreat. The spaciousness and elegant details of the bathroom truly allows the homeowner to relax in the large tub or shower. Two people can easily get ready for their day without getting into each other’s way. When designing the master bedroom, we always consider multiple furniture placement options so you will not be limited with The Geneva.
The homeowner can also find a place for everything in the enormous walk-in closets in every room and multiple closets on the first floor. Also, the openness of the kitchen is perfect for entertaining with flow thru to the family room. The cook can still stay connected to the conversation, while having their own uninterrupted space to work from behind the beautiful island.
