You know it is summertime when the pools become flooded with people everywhere you turn. This Memorial Day weekend is the start of all that anticipation as Highland Woods pool and water park opens at the Owners Club. Everyone of all ages is welcome to join in on the fun, whether it be sliding down a slippery slide, getting soaked by the water mushroom or laying poolside. For those who enjoy being active outdoors, take a dip in the pool to get a few laps in to start the day off right.
If staying dry is your style, the Owners Club has plenty of other activities to participate in. The fitness center is full of excitement and a great way to meet neighbors while getting a work out in. It’s comprised of treadmills and elliptical trainers with personal televisions to watch your favorite show. Weight machines and free weights are also included. No need to get a babysitter as there is a visible child activity room at your side. With it being right next door you’ll save time and money by eliminating a drive to the local gym.
When the weather is cooperating, put on those gym shoes and head to the tennis and basketball courts, or slip them off and play a game of sand volleyball. Take advantage of these warmer months to stay fit and not even realize you are doing it! When you are finished with your activity, take a hot shower within the impressive locker rooms to stay clean and fresh.
Wind down the day and relax at the Owners Club clubhouse. There is a variety of seating and tables to use for any game or activity you have planned to do. The clubhouse is great to host a graduation, birthday, or anniversary party that may be too large for your home. It is decorated to feel cozy as if it were your own home. Keep your family active and happy all summer long while enjoying the amenities the Owners Club offers at just thirty-five dollars a month.
